Abstract

Documentary catalogues have always been a tool in the use and development of descriptive works, characteristically based on the qualitative method. This time the objective was to achieve an analytical development on images from the Photographic Collection, belonging to the Forestry Commission of the State of Michoacán (COFOM). The process expressed in the following text is an interpretive version of the aerial photographs taken in March 1954. Therefore, please understand that the narrative may contain objective and subjective assertions. It was carried out manually, that is, one by one, photo by photo, resulting in a detailed study of each one. A total of 699 photographs corresponding to box 01 zero one were subsequently dated, these being the first in a series of numerical boxes belonging to the COFOM, which will be described in other catalogs in subsequent works. Thus, its content consists of mentioning the hard data of each of the photographs: title of the photograph, date, type of vegetation, density of vegetation, continuity, general physiographic features, rivers, and bodies of water, human settlements, document information/document description, organization, and notes. As I said at the beginning, this text meets the necessary conditions for a brief assessment of the aerial photographs dating from 1954, whose content covers various municipalities belonging to the state of Michoacán de Ocampo.

Los catálogos documentales han sido una herramienta en el uso y desarrollo de trabajos descriptivos, basados en el método cualitativo de modo característico, en este caso, el objetivo fue lograr un desarrollo analítico sobre imágenes del Acervo Fotográfico, perteneciente a la Comisión forestal del Estado de Michoacán (COFOM), el proceso vertido en el siguiente texto es una versión interpretativa sobre las fotografías aéreas realizadas en el mes de marzo del año 1954. Por lo tanto, sírvase entender que su narración podría contener aseveraciones objetivas y subjetivas, se efectuó de modo manual, es decir; una a una, foto por foto, de tal manera que, dio por resultado que se lograra un estudio pormenorizado sobre cada una de ellas. En lo sucesivo se consiguió datar un total de 699 SEISCIENTAS NOVENTA Y NUEVE fotografías correspondientes a la caja 01 cero uno, siendo estas las primeras de una serie numérica de cajas que pertenecen a la COFOM y de las cuales habrá otros catálogos que las describan en trabajos posteriores. Es así, que su contenido radica en hacer mención sobre los datos duros de cada una de las fotografías; título de la fotografía, fecha, tipo de vegetación.; densidad, continuidad, rasgos fisiográficos generales, ríos, cuerpos de agua, asentamientos humanos, información del documento/descripción del documento, organización, y notas. Como dije al principio, este texto reúne las condiciones necesarias sobre una apreciación somera de las imágenes Aero-fotográficas que datan del año 1954, y cuyo contenido es de diversos municipios pertenecientes al Estado de Michoacán de Ocampo.
