This documentary catalog describes the descriptive organization of the Michoacán Collection, preserved by the Historical Documentary Archive of the Institute of Historical Research (AHDIIH) of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. It consists of 576 documentary units from the 16th to the 20th century, with a considerable concentration in the post-revolutionary period (1929-1937). The catalog was created in accordance with the International Standard for Archival Description (ISAD(G)), which maintains the consistency and accessibility of descriptions for five main series: Correspondence, Land, Church, Notarial Documents, and Government.
Este catálogo documental describe la organización descriptiva de la Colección Michoacán, preservada por el Archivo Histórico Documental del Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas (AHDIIH) de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. Consiste en 576 unidades documentales desde el siglo XVI hasta el siglo XX, con una considerable concentración en el período posrevolucionario (1929-1937). El catálogo fue creado de acuerdo con la Norma Internacional General de Descripción Archivística (ISAD(G)) que mantiene la consistencia y accesibilidad de las descripciones para cinco series principales: Correspondencia, Tierra, Iglesia, Documentos Notariales y Gobierno.
