El paisaje de marfil como patrimonio territorial de Guanajuato en el siglo XXI

Abstract

This thesis studies Guanajuato's municipal territory, with the aim to characterize the urban locality of Marfil, from the analysis of the sediments, since the last quarter of 20th century to the current time, to identify the processes of transformation that influence the persistence of the territorial heritage and values in the contemporary landscape. It is approached from two perspectives: 1) Of the geography, where Sauer's contributions are adopted, with regard to the territory and the cultural character of the landscape; as well as the methodological contributions from the integrated analysis, in which those join on the territory from a cultural reading of Ortega, Troitiño y Magnaghi. 2) Of the architecture, from the patrimonial character, where it is orientated to the studies of urban transformation and place identity of Bolio; as well as the theoretical aspects of conservation and historical analysis of the heritage. One concludes that the model based on the touristic-real estate-administrative-cultural-commercial economy, has influence the transformation of Marfil landscape, where the territorial heritage conservation and values relate basically to the granted social value. Of there that the existing values of Guanajuato's territorial heritage are key indicators in the conservation and management of the territory.

Esta tesis estudia el territorio municipal de Guanajuato, con el objetivo de caracterizar la localidad urbana de Marfil, a partir del análisis de sus sedimentos, desde el último cuarto del siglo XX a la actualidad, para identificar en ella los procesos de transformación que influyen en la persistencia del patrimonio territorial y sus valores en el paisaje contemporáneo. Se aborda desde dos perspectivas: 1) De la geografía, donde se adoptan las aportaciones de Sauer, respecto al territorio y el carácter cultural del paisaje; así como las contribuciones metodológicas desde el análisis integrado, en las que se integran aquellas sobre el territorio desde una lectura cultural de Ortega, Troitiño y Magnaghi.2) De la arquitectura, en su carácter patrimonial, donde se orienta a los estudios sobre transformaciones urbanas e identidad del lugar de Bolio; así como los aspectos teóricos de la conservación y el análisis histórico del patrimonio. Se concluye que el modelo basado en la economía turística-inmobiliaria-administrativa-cultural-comercial, ha influido en la transformación del paisaje de Marfil, donde la conservación del patrimonio territorial y sus valores se relacionan primordialmente con el valor social otorgado. De ahí que la aplicación de indicadores para Guanajuato es clave en la protección y gestión del territorio.
