Apropiación socio física en la vivienda rural como manifestación del habitar humano, Quintana Roo, México

Abstract

The present investigation addresses the sociophysical appropriation in the rural housing of Quintana Roo as a complex system, immersed in a temporary loop of adaptations and stays to keep up. It is based on the observation of the coexistence of heterogeneous and interrelated forms of housing with the inhabitant, the housing and the environment; coexisting as part of previous processes and generating new phenomena. Investigate the settlement process of Quintana Roo during the 20th century, once the Caste War in the Yucatan Peninsula ended. During this process of territorial reorganization, human settlements were consolidated with the presence of groups of migrant workers from different parts of the country; physical factors act as conditioning factors and social factors contribute to their influence on current rural housing. These aspects mark specificities in the settlements whose components are based on a long tradition and cultural roots.

La presente investigación aborda la apropiación sociofísica en la vivienda rural de Quintana Roo como un sistema complejo, inmerso en un bucle temporal de adaptaciones y permanencias para mantenerse vigente. Se parte de la observación de la coexistencia de formas de habitar heterogéneas e interrelacionadas con el habitante, su vivienda y el entorno; coexistiendo como parte de procesos previos y generando nuevos fenómenos. Se indaga en el proceso de poblamiento de Quintana Roo durante el siglo XX, una vez finalizada la Guerra de Castas en la Península de Yucatán. Durante este proceso de reordenamiento territorial, los asentamientos humanos se consolidaron con la presencia de grupos de trabajadores migrantes, provenientes de diversas partes del país; los factores físicos fungen como condicionantes y los sociales aportan su influencia en la vivienda rural actual. Estos aspectos marcaron especificidades en los asentamientos cuyos componentes están basados en una larga tradición y arraigo cultural.
