Asthma is a chronic disease characterized by variable and reversible airway obstruction, manifested by recurrent episodes of cough, dyspnea and wheezing. The main goal of treatment in acute asthma attack is the rapid reversal of bronchoconstriction by repetitive administration of Beta adrenergic two inhalation as well as steroids that act on inflammation. The degree of response was measured by spirometry. Objectives: To characterize the relationship between the level of asthma control, lung function, family function, anxiety and depression. Characterize each individual with asthma respect to the variables of family functioning, anxiety, depression, pulmonary function and asthma control level. Relate the level of asthma control family function, anxiety, depression, and lung function. Methods: To evaluate and estimate the relationship of asthma control, family function, anxiety, depression, pulmonary function and nutritional status questionnaires total control asthma assessing the degree of asthma control and FF-SIL used to evaluate the degree of family dysfunction, then evaluating the association between them and spirometric values, all with the informed consent of the patient.
El Asma es una enfermedad crónica caracterizada por obstrucción variable y reversible de las vías aéreas, se manifiesta por episodios recurrentes de tos, disnea y sibilancias. El objetivo principal del tratamiento en la crisis aguda de asma es la reversión rápida de la broncoconstricción mediante la administración repetitiva de Beta dos adrenérgicos por vía inhalatoría, así como la administración de esteroides que actúan sobre la inflamación. El grado de respuesta se medirá a través de la espirometría. Objetivos: Caracterizar la relación entre el nivel de control del asma, función pulmonar, función familiar, ansiedad y depresión. Caracterizar a cada individuo con asma respecto a las variables de funcionamiento familiar, ansiedad, depresión, función pulmonar y nivel de control del asma. Relacionar el nivel de control del asma con función familiar, ansiedad, depresión, y función pulmonar. Material y métodos: Para evaluar y estimar la relación del control del asma, función familiar, ansiedad, depresión, función pulmonar y estado nutricional se utilizaron los cuestionarios de asma control total que evalúa el grado de control del asma y FF-SIL que evalúa el grado de disfunción familiar, evaluando posteriormente la asociación entre ellos y los valores espirometrícos, todo ello con el consentimiento informado por parte del paciente.
