High School Number Two "Ing. Pascual Ortiz Rubio" is located in the Historical Monuments Zone of the city of Morelia, specifically in the street Plan de Ayala, corner with Serapio Rendón, being this the main building of the same one that in century XIX was Seminary Tridentino, attributed to the French architect Adolfo Tresmontels. The annex of this high school is located to the east side of this building, it was originally designed for the Convent of the Discalced Carmelites or Teresas, but they never got to occupy it, which caused that it was object of varied interventions and changes of use; that have generated enough alterations and deteriorations to bring it to the state in which it is currently. These two properties mentioned, the main building and annex of the high school, belong to a set of historical monuments integrated by the Temple of San Jose, the cural house and the San Jose square. The proposal to carry out a project of spatial adequacy for this annex arises due to the deterioration conditions in which it is found as well as the wastage of this due to the current distribution, thinking of improving its operation adapting it to the use. It is considered that its intervention is for the benefit of the society, mainly for the students and teachers of this school since it is a historical and patrimonial building that forms part of the Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo. It is a work that was done together with the students of the Masters in Restoration in the stage of registrations and surveys of materials and construction systems and alterations and deteriorations. For the following stages of the project was formed a team of three students of the Specialty in Restoration generation 2015-2016, to realize an integral project of Restoration, Adaptation and Environmental Conditioning.
