Problemas geométricos que involucran la noción de variación y la incorporación de software dinámico como herramienta de aprendizaje

Abstract

This work has to do with the resolution of problems and with the ways in which the use of dynamic software can contribute to the understanding and solution of geometric problems involving the notion of variation. It is organized as follows: in this Chapter 1 highlights the importance of our research problem, objectives and goals. In Chapter 2 we present some of the literature reviewed to justify and support the development of the study. Chapter 3 is the central part of it, in which we address the geometric problems we have selected with the intention of covering the spectrum of contents corresponding to the school levels of the baccalaureate to the superior; some of them are of school context and others of historical character. The combination of the use of heuristic strategies and mathematical resources is important for their solution. Finally, in Chapter 4 we present the conclusions of the work. In the problems of Chapter 3, the notion of variation is used in the following ways: a) When the position of some points changes, for example, the distance between them; Our interest corresponds to the typical relationship of dependence between two variables. B) When changing the position of some point (s), changes the configuration of a previously made construction; here, in addition to the construction procedure, our interest is to show the dynamism provided by the software. C) When you change the position of some point (s), a reference point determines a place geometric; we are interested in showing the power of the homotecia relation for the determination of a locus.

Este trabajo tiene que ver con la resolución de problemas y con las maneras en que el uso de software dinámico puede contribuir al entendimiento y solución de problemas geométricos que involucran la noción de variación. Está organizado de la siguiente manera: en este Capítulo 1 resaltamos la importancia de nuestro problema de investigación, los objetivos y metas. En el Capítulo 2 presentamos parte de la literatura revisada para justificar y respaldar el desarrollo del estudio realizado. El Capítulo 3 es la parte central del mismo, en el abordamos los problemas geométricos que hemos seleccionado con la intensión de cubrir el espectro de contenidos correspondientes a los niveles escolares del bachillerato al superior; algunos de ellos son de contexto escolar y otros de carácter histórico. La combinación del uso de estrategias heurísticas y recursos matemáticos resulta importante para su solución. Finalmente, en el Capítulo 4 presentamos las conclusiones del trabajo. En los problemas del Capítulo 3, la noción de variación se utiliza en los siguientes sentidos: a) Cuando cambia la posición de algunos puntos cambia, por ejemplo, la distancia entre ellos; nuestro interés corresponde a la relación típica de dependencia entre dos variables. b) Cuando cambia la posición de algún(os) punto(s), cambia la configuración de una construcción previamente realizada; aquí, además del procedimiento de construcción, nuestro interés es mostrar el dinamismo que proporciona el software. c) Cuando cambia la posición de algún(os) punto(s), un punto de referencia determina un lugar geométrico; nos interesa mostrar la potencia de la relación de homotecia para la determinación de un lugar geométrico.
