This research aims to show the relationship between the subject and his/her body after receiving an organ transplant from a cadaveric donor. First, a review of medical discourse and the concept of body in psychoanalysis have been made. Afterward, the methodology of testimony is sustained. The testimony aims to highlight the word of the subjects that have received a kidney, heart or arms transplant. This research analyzes four testimonies. Two testimonies are public, as they appear in a book and in a TV show. Other two testimonies were obtained from public hospital interviews. The findings show how each subject brings out attitudes, thoughts and questions about the body after receiving a foreign organ from an unknown donor.
