La mujer como problema filosófico en Edith Stein: Hacia una cultura de la persona

Abstract

The reflection around the women has been present in the philosophy like a topic that it resurges and he/she thinks about in the most diverse stages in their historical development. Examples of we are them in some in the good known problematize ways around the woman present in Plato's philosophy, Aristotle, Tomás of Aquino, Schopenhauer, Simmel, Nietzsche and Freud, next to other many more. All these thinkers, in spite of the differences that keep to each other, meditated before "that other" one to oneself time similar and different. Nevertheless, to deepen in it is it something that escapes to the objectives that he/she intends the present investigation; however, in connection with the above-mentioned it is necessary to highlight the existent distance among the philosopher that meditates and that in lathe to that which is meditated, but what it happens when who wonders for the feminine being is a philosopher, is this, when a woman meditates on itself? The answer has diverse acquired agreement shades with the concrete women that have attempted to contribute an answer (I try that it continues) so much from their historical specific context- cultural as of the philosophical horizons starting from which articulate their thought. One of these answers finds it in the studies on Edith's woman Stein, who locates the problem inside the calls sciences of the spirit, but mainly as a philosophical question.

La reflexión en torno a las mujeres ha estado presente en la filosofía como un tema que resurge y se plantea en las más diversas etapas de su desarrollo histórico. Ejemplos de ello los encontramos en algunas de las más conocidas formas de problematizar en torno a la mujer presentes en la filosofía de Platón, Aristóteles, Tomás de Aquino, Schopenhauer, Simmel, Nietzsche y Freud, junto a otros muchos más. Todos estos pensadores, pese a las diferencias que guardan entre sí, reflexionaron ante “ese otro” a un mismo tiempo semejante y distinto. No obstante, profundizar en ello es algo que escapa a los objetivos que se propone la presente investigación; sin embargo, en relación con lo anterior es necesario destacar la distancia existente entre el filósofo que reflexiona y aquello en torno a lo cual se reflexiona, pero ¿qué sucede cuando quien se pregunta por el ser femenino es una filósofa, esto es, cuando una mujer reflexiona sobre sí misma? La respuesta ha adquirido diversos matices de acuerdo con las mujeres concretas que han intentado aportar una respuesta (intento que continúa) tanto desde su específico contexto histórico- cultural como de los horizontes filosóficos a partir de los cuales articulan su pensamiento. Una de estas respuestas la encontramos en los estudios sobre la mujer de Edith Stein, quien ubica el problema dentro de las llamadas ciencias del espíritu, pero principalmente como una cuestión filosófica.
