Psychological resources are protective factors that are positively associated with health levels, increase resistance to adversity, facilitating an adequate evaluation and facing the changes and vital events occurred in life, thus generating responses aimed at obtaining physical and psychological well-being. Hence, the objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the changes at a qualitative and quantitative level of an interactive high aimed at the empowerment of P´urhépecha women wives of migrants, by strengthening their personal, economic and social resources of the community P ´urhépecha of Cheranatzicurin. A total of 20 women participate in the diagnosis and 8 women in the workshops, have an approximate age of 20 to 50 years and a minimum education of basic education. The research was of mixed multiphase design: the first phase was about ethnographic information; the second of diagnosis using a semi-structured interview; and finally the third one consisted of the design, application and evaluation of the workshop. A description of the main traditions and celebrations of the Cheranatzicurin community and the involvement of migrants in them is presented. In addition, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the information collected during the diagnostic phases and during the workshop evaluation was performed, the Psychological Resources (ERP) scales were applied in the previous and subsequent tests and analyzed with a nonparametric Wilcoxon test. It was found that P´urhépecha women wives of migrants had an increase in their psychological resources, especially affective ones, because they improved in the management of their feelings of sadness and in their social skills, in their narratives they also reported improvement in the management of remittances.
Los recursos psicológicos son factores protectores que se asocian positivamente a los niveles de salud permitiendo aumentar la resistencia a la adversidad, facilitando una adecuada evaluación y afrontamiento de los cambios y los sucesos vitales ocurridos en la vida, generando así, respuestas dirigidas a obtener bienestar físico y psicológico. De ahí que el objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar los cambios a nivel cualitativo y cuantitativo de un taller interactivo dirigido al empoderamiento de las mujeres P´urhépecha esposas de migrantes, mediante el fortalecimiento de sus recursos personales, económicos y sociales de la comunidad P´urhépecha de Cheranatzicurin. Participaron un total de 20 mujeres en el diagnóstico y 8 mujeres en los talleres, quienes cuentan con una edad aproximada de 20 a 50 años y con una escolaridad mínima de educación básica. La investigación fue de diseño mixto multifase: la primera fase fue de información etnográfica; la segunda de diagnóstico a partir de una entrevista semiestructurada; y por último la tercera consistió en el diseño, aplicación y evaluación del taller. Se presenta una descripción de las principales tradiciones y celebraciones de la comunidad de Cheranatzicurin y el involucramiento de los migrantes en las mismas. Además, se realizó análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la información recabada durante las fases de diagnóstico y durante la evaluación del taller, se aplicaron las escalas de Recursos Psicológicos (ERP) en el pretest y postest y se analizaron con una prueba no paramétrica de Wilcoxon. Se encontró que las mujeres P´urhépecha esposas de migrantes mostraron un incremento de sus recursos psicológicos, especialmente los afectivos, pues mejoraron en el manejo de sus sentimientos de tristeza y en sus habilidades sociales. En sus narrativas reportaron mejoría en el manejo de las remesas.
