Teenagers tend to find themselves more exposed to cellphone usage, which they have access since very young, therefore they might invest a lot of their time on this activity. The general goal for this investigation is to evaluate the efficiency of a Workshop for the Checked Usage of the Cellphone (TUCC by its Spanish acronym), for parents and teenagers. It has as a side goal to compare the pre and post scores of attention and executive functions from the test batteries NEUROPSI and WISC-IV. Sample composes from 19 parents (from 35 to 54 years old) and their 22 teenage children (from 12 to 15 years old), divided in four groups (Parents and teenagers, P+A; Teenagers only, A; Parents only, P and Control Group, GC). The usage of the cellphone was analyzed for 16 weeks with two tracings. TUCC consists on 5 topics for parents and 9 for teenagers, it was developed on hybrid form: the first three sessions were done presential and the rest virtual. There were no results that were statistically significant on time usage of the cellphone and changes were only found on the processing speed index (IVP) from P+A group. It can be concluded that TUCC wasn’t effective on decreasing the time inverted on cellphone usage, but it might have had influenced the IVP on teenagers.
