The present work analyzed the structure of the community of fish in three rivers of the hydrological region of the Rafts and its relationship with environmental (the fluvial geomorphology and the physiochemical variables) processes and the ecological, included processes the interactions biotics. In the first part, it was found that, although environmental processes as the climatic, hydrological and physiochemical variations are manifested as régimes of natural disturbance, to which the community of fish doesn't respond in the short term, the evaluation of the fluvial geomorphology allowed to establish the structural heterogeneity of the studied beds, which was reflected in the diversity of the community of fish, that which supported the explanation of the space difference among the places.
El presente trabajo analizó la estructura de la comunidad de peces en tres ríos de la región hidrológica del Balsas y su relación con procesos ambientales (la geomorfología fluvial y las variables fisicoquímicas) y los procesos ecológicos, incluidas las interacciones bióticas. En la primera parte, se encontró que, a pesar de que procesos ambientales como las variaciones climáticas, hidrológicas y fisicoquímicas se manifiestan como regímenes de disturbio natural, a los cuales la comunidad de peces no responde en el corto plazo , la evaluación de la geomorfología fluvial permitió establecer la heterogeneidad estructural de los cauces estudiados, la cual se vio reflejada en la diversidad de la comunidad de peces, lo cual apoyó la explicación de la diferencia espacial entre los sitios.
