The trehalose is a disaccharide that is accumulated on the leguminous nods and had been relates whit the plants resistance to drought. It is known that the disaccharide is synthesized by bacteroids and that it is stored on the cytoplasm; It has been observed that in the leguminous nodules of the ones accumulates trehalose disaccharide, whose concentration apparently this in function of the stump of Rhizobium, the leguminous species and the environmental conditions. On the other hand, there are only a few reports about the accumulation of trehalose on the mycorrizal symbiosis where unlike Rhizobium apparently there are no a carbohydrate flux from de microsimbiont to the plant it seems that in difference with rhizobia, there is not flux of carbohydrates from the microsymbiont to the plant. Today, it is unknown the trehalose dynamics in the tripartite Mycorrhiza-Rhizobia-Legume and the objective of the present work was to observe the effect of on nodule trehalose content by coinoculating mycorrhiza and Rhizobium on common bean under well-watered and drought conditions. Three wild genotypes (P. filiformis, P. acutifolius and P. vulgaris) and two commercial genotypes of Phaseolus (Pinto villa and Flor de Mayo) were used. Coinoculation treatments were done with Glomus intraradicces and a mixture of 8 native rhizobial strains quantified. The results showed that the trehalose accumulates only in the genotypes inoculated whit Rhizobium and under water stress standing the genotype P. filiformis whit accumulated 50 mg/g of trehalose under watering to 90 mg/ g under stress conditions and the genotype Pinto Saltillo characterized to be resistance to drought accumulated 40 mg /g in watering and 60 mg/g in water stress. The trealosa in the nods was fewer whit the coinoculated Glomus- Rhizobium. P. filiformis only accumulated 12 mg/g in watering and 30 mg/g in stress and Pinto Saltillo accumulated 22 mg/g in watering and 35 mg/g in water stress, it was also demonstrated that coinoculation negatively affects its nodule content on each genotype tested.
La trealosa es un disacárido que se acumula en los nódulos de las leguminosas y que se ha relacionado con la resistencia vegetal a la sequía. Se conoce que el disacárido es sintetizado por los bacteroides y que se almacena luego en el citoplasma vegetal. Esta acumulación está en función de la cepa de Rhizobium, la especie de leguminosa y las condiciones ambientales, por otra parte, existen pocos informes sobre la acumulación de trealosa en la simbiosis micorrícica, donde a diferencia de Rhizobium aparentemente no existe un flujo de carbohidratos del micro simbionte a la planta. Actualmente se desconoce la dinámica de la trealosa en la asociación Micorriza-Rhizobium-Leguminosa. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar el efecto de la coinoculación micorriza-Rhizobium, en la acumulación de trealosa en nódulos de genotipos de frijol. Se estudiaron los genotipos Flor de Mayo y Pinto Saltillo y las especies silvestres Phaseolus vulgaris, P. acutifolius y P. filiformis inoculados con Glomus intraradicces y una mezcla de 8 aislados de Rhizobium. Los resultados demostraron que la trealosa se acumuló en los genotipos de frijol previamente inoculados con Rhizobium y sometidos a estrés hídrico, destacó el genotipo P.filiformis con una acumulación de trealosa de 50 mg/g. de nódulo en riego comparado con 90 mg/g en nódulo, en condiciones de estrés hídrico y Pinto Saltillo, un cultivar caracterizado como tolerante a la sequía, la trealosa se acumuló en cantidades de 40 mg/ g. en riego y 60 mg/g en estrés hídrico. La trealosa en los nódulos fue menor cuando se realizó la inoculación mixta con Glomus. En P. filiformis solo se detectó 12 mg/g. en riego y 30 mg/g. en estrés hídrico. Mientras que en Pinto Saltillo se acumuló 22 mg/g. en riego y 35 mg/g. en estrés hídrico. No se observó acumulación de trealosa en la raíz en los tratamientos inoculados solo con Glomus.
