Drosophila suzukii is a holometabolous diptera considered an exotic pest in Mexico because it damages berries that are in a phenological maturity state suitable for distribution and consumption. The Servicio Nacional de Sanidad e Inocuidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (SENASICA) proposed as a strategy for control and monitoring the use of traps with apple cider vinegar as a lure, however, by itself it proves to be a low-efficiency attractant because the presence of the fly persists. In this work, alternative lures were explored in an in vitro system through alcoholic fermentations of blackberry with the yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Kluyveromyces marxianus and additionally, their corresponding acetic fermentations, for which the bacterium C1 was isolated from homemade vinegar; Likewise, the effect of C2 bacteria on acetic fermentations was evaluated (bacteria isolated from the same vinegar as C1, but it does not carry out acetic fermentation). The female had a 66% of preference for acetic fermentation with C1 and C2 with the yeast K. marxianus (Km+C1+C2) in comparison with the apple cider vinegar. The male, on the other hand, had a percentage of preference of 83% for the alcoholic fermentation with K. marxianus and for the acetic fermentation with C1 from the alcoholic with K. marxianus in relation to apple cider vinegar that only reached a 16% of preference, however, in the semi-field test it is revealed that the acetic treatment with C1 from the alcoholic fermentation with K. marxianus achieves statistical significance under the conditions in which it was carried out. Through the correlation between the volatiles analysis and the behavioral response by "Y" tube olfactometry, it was determined that some molecules such as β-damascenone and enanthic acid could be involved in the female response meanwhile isoamyl caprylate and 3-octanone in the male response.
