Infantile hemangioma (HI) is the most common benign tumor of childhood, produced by the proliferation of endothelial cells of the blood vessels. Its incidence is 4-10% in children under one year. 12% of hemangiomas diagnosed require treatment. The predominant location is in the head and neck. Childhood hemangioma is more frequent in the Caucasian race and in the female sex. There is also a higher incidence in premature children and in newborns of low weight (less than 1500 grams). Some studies related to the mother's advanced age, multiple gestation, previous placenta and preeclampsia, although all these factors are related to low birth weight and prematurity. The first-line treatment is propranolol, which increases the contractility of the pericytes of the hemangioma causing the decrease in blood flow within the tumor. Objective. Analyze the experience of the Pediatric Dermatology service of the Children's Hospital of Morelia in the management of Infantile Hemangioma over a period of 18 months. Patients and method: A descriptive, retrospective and longitudinal study is carried out. 25 patients diagnosed with Infantile Hemangioma treated in the Pediatric Dermatology service of the Children's Hospital of Morelia, in the period from January 2018 to July 2019. Results.25 patients were included in the study, the age of highest incidence at the time of diagnosis was at 3 months with 8 patients corresponding to 32%. Higher incidence in female sex. Among the risk factors, the one that predominated was Prematurity with 7 patients, followed by a twin product with 2 patients, and finally low weight and preeclampsia with one patient respectively.

El tratamiento de primera línea es el propranolol queaumentaría la contractilidad de los pericitos del hemangioma provocando disminución del flujo sanguíneo dentro del tumor. Objetivo.
