México has records of bullfrog production since 2005; and in 2014 it was ranked fourth worldwide in bullfrog production; in México of the states that have bullfrog production Michoacán is in first place in terms of tons produced, and within this, the municipality with the largest number of production units is Álvaro Obregón. The objective of the present work was to identify the actors (clients, suppliers, competitors and complementers) that make up the value network of bullfrog producers in the municipality of Álvaro Obregón; as well as identifying the links identified between them, through Social Network Analysis (SNA). To obtain the information, the questionnaire is found as an instrument for data collection. The information was analyzed using the Excel® program for general information and UCINET® for the SNA. The study allowed to identify the actors that make up the value network of the bull frog, highlighting within these the frog product system, being identified as supplier, customer and complementor. The SNA indicated that the bullfrog's value network is poorly structured, presenting a density of 2.9%. The results obtained allow us to advance in the knowledge of the actors that make up the raniculture value network, likewise they can be useful for designing strategies that seek network integration.
México cuenta con registros de producción de rana toro desde el 2005; y en el 2014 se ubicó en el cuarto lugar a nivel mundial en producción de rana toro; en México de los estados que cuentan con producción de rana toro Michoacán se ubica en el primer lugar en cuanto a toneladas producidas, así mismo dentro de éste, el municipio que cuenta con mayor número de unidades de producción es Álvaro Obregón. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue identificar los actores (clientes, proveedores, competidores y complementadores) que integran la red de valor de los productores de rana toro del municipio de Álvaro Obregón; así como identificar los vínculos existentes entre éstos, mediante el Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS). Para obtener la información se utilizó el cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos. La información fue analizada utilizando el programa Excel® para la información general y UCINET® para el ARS. El estudio permitió identificar los actores que integran la red de valor de la rana toro, destacando dentro de éstos el sistema producto rana, al ser identificado como proveedor, cliente y complementador. El ARS indicó que la red de valor de la rana toro se encuentra poco estructurada presentando una densidad de 2.9%. Los resultados obtenidos permiten avanzar en el conocimiento de los actores que integran la red de valor de la ranicultura, así mismo pueden ser útiles para el diseño de estrategias que busquen la integración de la red.
