This thesis is a study of the phenomenon of self-harm, based on the methodology of case analysis. One of the most suitable ways to account for the psyche and subjectivity from the psychoanalytic approach. This study is woven through what was deployed in the clinical space, taking into consideration the changes that culture develops. Changes such as the new exercise of parenting, the prevalence of communication through virtual social networks, the modification in the social ties that put individualism, hedonism, objectification, narcissism, the consumption of objects in the first place, as well as the submission to a set of images of commercial disposition that are imposed on adolescents as an ideal model to follow. This study allows us to contribute theoretical-practical elements that somehow bring us closer to the possible unconscious nuclei that lead an adolescent to direct the aggression towards him/herself (self-harm), as well as to the subjective relationship that this adolescent has with him/her body, and in turn, the representation of self -inflicted pain. However, it is known that a clinical case has an immeasurable richness, that is, when we meet the saying of whoever we are listening to, we only have to subtract something, and try an approach to a small part of the entire universe that it offers us, since the horizon that opens before us is infinite and generates questions that reveal the impossibility of everything.
La presente tesis es un estudio del fenómeno de las autolesiones, a partir de la metodología de análisis de caso, una de las maneras más adecuadas para dar cuenta del psiquismo y la subjetividad desde el enfoque psicoanalítico. Este estudio se teje a partir de lo que se desplegó en el espacio clínico, tomando en consideración los cambios que la cultura desenvuelve, cambios como el nuevo ejercicio de las parentalidades, la prevalencia de la comunicación a través de redes sociales virtuales, la modificación en los lazos sociales que colocan en primer lugar el individualismo, el hedonismo, la cosificación, el narcisismo, el consumo de objetos, así como el sometimiento a un conjunto de imágenes de disposición mercantil que les son impuestas a las y los adolescentes como un modelo ideal a seguir. Este estudio permite aportar elementos teóricos-prácticos que de alguna manera nos acercan a los posibles núcleos inconscientes que llevan a una adolescente a dirigir la agresión hacia sí misma (autolesiones), así como a la relación subjetiva que esta adolescente tiene con su cuerpo, y a su vez, la representación del dolor que se autoinflije. Sin embargo, es sabido que un caso clínico tiene una riqueza inabarcable, es decir, al encontrarnos con el decir de quien escuchamos, no queda más que sustraer algo, e intentar una aproximación a una pequeña parte de todo el universo que nos ofrece, puesto que el horizonte que se abre ante nosotros es infinito y genera interrogantes que nos revelan la imposibilidad del todo.
