Proyecto de alcantarillado sanitario para la población de Copándaro de Galeana, Mpio. de Copándaro, Michoacán

Abstract

In the development of urban locations, their services in general begin with a poor supply of drinking water and meet their needs based on staggered works for the sake of their economy. As a consequence, the problem of eviction of sewage or wastewater is presented. Thus, the construction of a sanitary sewer system is required to drive the wastewater produced by a population, including commerce, services and industry to their final destination. A sanitary sewer system is made up of all or some of the following elements: docks, collectors, interceptors, emitters, pumping stations, accessory works, final discharge and a treatment plant. The final destination of the sewage may be, after treatment, from a receiving body to reuse or recharge of aquifers, depending on the treatment that is performed and the particular conditions of the study area. In the design of a sanitary sewer system, the existing infrastructure in the locality (drinking water, gas pipelines, telephone, electric power, storm sewer, etc.) must be known to avoid that the designed pipes coincide with these facilities, and ensure that, at junctions with the drinking water network, the sewer pipe is always located below it. This project is aimed at raising awareness and training communities about the need to implement the environmental sanitation service, and thus improve the quality of life of their families and the community in general, creating a healthy, clean and pollution-free environment.

En el desarrollo de las localidades urbanas, sus servicios en general se inician con un precario abastecimiento de agua potable y van satisfaciendo sus necesidades con base en obras escalonadas en bien de su economía. Como consecuencia se presenta el problema del desalojo de las aguas servidas o aguas residuales. Se requiere así la construcción de un sistema de alcantarillado sanitario para conducir las aguas residuales que produce una población, incluyendo el comercio, los servicios y la industria a su destino final. Un sistema de alcantarillado sanitario está integrado por todos o algunos de los siguientes elementos: atarjeas, colectores, interceptores, emisores, estaciones de bombeo, obras accesorias, descarga final y una planta de tratamiento. El destino final de las aguas servidas podrá ser, previo tratamiento, desde un cuerpo receptor hasta el reúso o la recarga de acuíferos, dependiendo del tratamiento que se realice y de las condiciones particulares de la zona de estudio. En el diseño de un sistema de alcantarillado sanitario se debe conocer la infraestructura existente en la localidad (agua potable, ductos de gas, teléfono, energía eléctrica, alcantarillado pluvial, etc.) para evitar que las tuberías diseñadas coincidan con estas instalaciones, y asegurar que, en los cruces con la red de agua potable, la tubería del alcantarillado siempre se localice por debajo de esta. Este proyecto está encaminado a concienciar y capacitar a las comunidades sobre la necesidad de implementar el servicio de saneamiento ambiental, y así mejorar la calidad de vida de sus familias y a la comunidad en general, creando un ambiente sano, limpio y sin contaminación.
