Abstract

Mexico is extraordinarily diverse biologically. In this aspect it occupies the fourth world place in mega diversity, housing 10% of the vegetable species approximately, of handmade well-known use and with a high endemismos proportion, what bears to have a representation of goods and species very high maderables, this obeys the wide variety of physical conditions without a doubt, such as topography, variability of the floor, climate and other factors that prevail in the country, reason why throughout the history it has taken to the man to know them and this way to know which are more useful (Brave and López 2002).

México es extraordinariamente diverso biológicamente. En este aspecto ocupa el cuarto lugar mundial en mega diversidad, albergando aproximadamente el 10% de las especies vegetales, de uso artesanal conocidas y con una alta proporción de endemismos, lo que conlleva a tener una representación de géneros y especies maderables muy alta, esto obedece sin duda a la gran variedad de condiciones físicas, tales como topografía, variabilidad del suelo, clima y otros factores que prevalecen en el país, por lo cual a lo largo de la historia ha llevado al hombre a conocerlos y así saber cuáles son más útiles (Bravo y López 2002).
