The most efficient and controllable method among all other methods and techniques that exist for the synthesis of carbon nanotubes is the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method where it is easier to control the variables of the growth process. In the different methods that are used for the synthesis of carbon nanostructures, as well as in the Chemical Vapor Deposit, they are used as regular non-renewable precursors such as alcohols and hydrocarbons, among others. That is why in this project we choose the use of a bio-renewable precursor, the Biogas. Based on researches and articles already reviewed, followed in this project, as an objective to achieve a growth of nanotubes and carbon, such as a Co-Mo bimetallic supported on mesoporous silica SBA-15 with the Chemical Vapor Deposition technique (CVD) Use as a precursor, the biogas without treatment for the growth of carbon nanotubes.
