The diabetes mellitus type 2 is consequence to the interaction of genetic factors and ambient, between these, the life style plays a fundamental paper. The objective of the groups to help PREVENIMSS is the learning and application to the saleable styles of life. Objective: Identify to the life styles in persons whit diabetes mellitus type 2, integrated to help group PREVENIMSS, and who current usually whit their familiar medic. We examinants to study descriptive, observational, comparative, transversal, retrospective in the U.M. F. No. 80. Participated on total of 160 patients, with DM2. Distributions in two groups, 80 patients that attended to program prevenimss, and 80 that attended whit familiar medic. Not are includes patient with agued complications the DM2, with mental disease. All participants responses the test IMEVID for knowledge the life style, also includes, weight, length, MCI, school, occupation and marital status, time evolution to diabetes. For the differences between groups, utility test U of Mann Withney. Results: in group that attended the PREVENIMSS program went 20 is not favorable, 37 regular and 2e good. The group that is not attendant for prevenimss program 47 is not favorable, 27 good.
La diabetes mellitus tipo 2 (DM2) es consecuencia de la interacción de factores genéticos y ambientales, y el estilo de vida juega un papel fundamental. El objetivo de los grupos de ayuda PREVENIMSS es el aprendizaje y aplicación de estilos de vida saludables. Objetivo: Identificar los estilos de vida en personas con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 integrados a grupo de ayuda PREVENIMSS y los que acuden solo con su médico familiar. Se realizo un estudio descriptivo, tipo encuesta en la UMF No. 80, participaron 160 pacientes con DM2, distribuidos en dos grupos, 80 pacientes que acuden a programa PREVENIMSS, y 80 que acuden solo con medico familiar, se excluyeron pacientes con complicaciones agudas de DM2, y/o enfermedad mental. Todos los participantes contestaron la encuesta IMEVID, conocer el estilo de vida; además se determinó el para peso, talla, IMC, escolaridad, ocupación, estado civil, y tiempo de evolución de la diabetes. Para las diferencias entre grupos se utilizó la prueba estadística U de Mannwithney. Resultados, en el grupo que acude a programa PREVENIMSS, 20 pacientes presentaron un estilo de vida desfavorable, 37 regular y 23 bueno, el grupo que no acude programa educativo PREVENIMSS 47 presentaron un estilo de vida desfavorable, 27 regular, y 9 bueno.
