Abstract

We understand as a museum to all that building whose spaces are mainly intended for the exhibition of art work belonging to any stylistic current. This work may be in any of the different representations; Call paint, sculpture, engraving, installation, video, sound art, etc. For this, it is very important that the appropriate spaces are available, especially that the different readings that each work offers to the viewer can have. Currently, contemporary art museums are buildings that somehow need large spaces to accommodate the most innovative artistic proposals, with spaces that can be adjusted in different possibilities; according to the needs of the exhibitor or the exposure in turn. The mainly old art museums are spaces that have to be completely closed to prevent, between direct natural light, since it affects the work, it is currently allowed to penetrate natural light indirectly, so it is possible to have more spaces enlightened and generating substantial savings of electric power.

Entendemos como museo a todo aquel edificio cuyos espacios están destinados principalmente para la exposición de obra de arte perteneciente a cualquier corriente estilística. Dicha obra puede estar en cualquiera de las diferentes representaciones; llámese pintura, escultura, grabado, instalación, video, arte sonoro, etc. para ello es muy importante que se cuente con los espacios adecuados, sobre todo que se puedan tener las diferentes lecturas que cada obra ofrece al espectador. Actualmente los museos de arte contemporáneo son edificios que de alguna manera necesitan de grandes espacios para dar cabida a las más novedosas propuestas artísticas, contando con espacios que se puedan ajustar en diferentes posibilidades; de acuerdo a las necesidades del expositor o de la exposición en turno. Los museos de arte principalmente antiguo son espacios que tienen que estar completamente cerrados para evitar que, entre luz natural directa, ya que ésta afecta a la obra, actualmente está permitido que penetre luz natural de forma indirecta, por lo cual es posible tener espacios más iluminados y generando un ahorro substancial de energía eléctrica.
