Mediateca

Abstract

This document presents the project of a mediateca for the city of Uruapan, Michoacán. The intention of the project responds to a real need in this municipality, of lack of spaces and equipment for study and research. As a reference of these spaces we have the libraries that have the mission of facilitating the access of society to information. The mediateca is a space for coexistence, for research, where young people and children attend to study, see documentaries, navigate on the Internet, witness conferences, make exhibitions and why not?, Drinking coffee while sailing on the Internet, Applying the necessary and sufficient technological elements for maximum use, as well as to promote study, reading and research.

En este documento se presenta el proyecto de una Mediateca para la ciudad de Uruapan, Michoacán. La Intención del proyecto responde a una necesidad real en este municipio, de falta de espacios y equipamiento para el estudio y la investigación. Como referencia de estos espacios tenemos las bibliotecas que tienen como misión facilitar el acceso de la sociedad a la información. La Mediateca es un espacio para la convivencia, para la investigación, donde jóvenes y niños asisten a estudiar, ver documentales, navegar en Internet, presenciar conferencias, realizar exposiciones y, ¿Por qué no?, tomar un café mientras se navega en internet, aplicando los elementos tecnológicos necesarios y suficientes para el máximo aprovechamiento, así como para promover el estudio, la lectura y la investigación.
