This work follows from an response to the call for Mixed Conacyt funds, where the main member of this call is the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo UMSNH, a work in which several proposals were made, looking for a solution to the environmental problem and urban, caused by the poor state of the Lerma River in La Piedad, Michoacán and its surroundings. Resulting in the project No.73881, entitled “Sanitation of the Natural Cauce (Meandro) of the Lerma River and its integration to the urban dynamics of La Piedad, Michoacán”, whose responsible was Dr. Rebeca Aneli Rueda Jasso, along with a Great multidisciplinary team in which researchers, fellows and several university students from different areas, such as Civil Engineering, Economy, Law, Biology, Architecture, Metallurgy Research Institute and the Biological Chemical Research Institute participated.
Este trabajo se desprende de una respuesta a la convocatoria de los Fondos Mixtos CONACYT, donde el principal integrante de esta convocatoria es la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo UMSNH, trabajo en el cual se realizó varias propuestas, buscando una solución a la problemática ambiental y urbana, provocada por el mal estado del Río Lerma en La Piedad, Michoacán y su entorno. Dando como resultado el proyecto no.73881, intitulado “Saneamiento del cauce natural (meandro) del río Lerma e integración del mismo a la dinámica urbana de la Piedad, Michoacán”, cuya responsable fue la Dra. Rebeca Aneli Rueda Jasso, junto con un gran equipo multidisciplinario en el cual participaron investigadores, becarios y varios universitarios de diferentes áreas, como Ingeniería Civil, Economía, Derecho, Biología, Arquitectura, Instituto de Investigación en Metalurgia y el Instituto de Investigación Químico Biológicas.
