La transmisión de derramas tecnológicas a partir de la inversión extranjera directa en la industria manufacturera de México durante los años 1992, 1995, 1999 y 2001

Abstract

The present investigation has as particular end to determine the effects that it has generated the foreign direct investment, focusing us mainly to the existence of you spill technological in the country. The participation of the foreign direct (IED) investment in Mexico has suffered several changes through the decades, in the forty it was not very seen in the country and he/she was given very little importance. In the years eighty suffer a great change with the implementation of a new system, opening the economy toward the exterior. IED takes bigger importance in the international economy, since it is considered that it contributes to the efficiency, he/she brings technology and knowledge, the productivity increases and it impels the competitiveness of the country. This politics of continuous opening in the decade of the noventas with the signature of the Treaty of Free Trade of America of the North with United States and Canada in 1994, as well as to the signature 12 treaties more with diverse countries, being Mexico one of the states with more opening. These measures transferred I get a favorable atmosphere for the foreign investor, the invigoration of the protection of the industrial intellectual property and the deregulation of the technological transactions, bringing gets a growth in the number of exports.

La presente investigación tiene como fin particular determinar los efectos que ha generado la inversión extranjera directa, enfocándonos principalmente a la existencia de derramas tecnológicas en el país. La participación de la inversión extranjera directa (IED) en México ha sufrido varios cambios a través de las décadas, en los cuarenta no era bien vista en el país y se le daba muy poca importancia. En los años ochenta sufre un gran cambio con la implementación de un nuevo sistema, abriendo la economía hacia el exterior. La IED toma mayor importancia en la economía internacional, ya que se considera que contribuye a la eficiencia, trae tecnología y conocimientos, aumenta la productividad e impulsa la competitividad del país. Esta política de apertura continua en la década de los noventas con la firma del Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte con Estados Unidos y Canadá en 1994, así como al firma 12 tratados más con diversos países, siendo México uno de los estados con mayor apertura. Estas medidas transfirieron consigo un ambiente favorable para el inversionista extranjero, el fortalecimiento de la protección de la propiedad intelectual industrial y la desregulación de las transacciones tecnológicas, trayendo consigo un crecimiento en el número de exportaciones.
