The country's geographical situation puts us in an area of high seismicity and every year come to our shores natural tropical depressions, storms and hurricanes that affect the city, which is prone to flooding in some areas. The increasing development has made us more vulnerable to accidents physicochemical type. Disasters have traditionally been classified as natural and manmade, having by nature are classified Geological, Hydro-, Health-ecological, socio-organizational and technological. With the increase in the city in population and buildings, it is a natural cause for the increase in emergencies, disasters, natural and man-made disasters, and for that reason requires more care and protection to the population before the due circumstances that may arise. Ensuring the safety of the population to any type of disaster, creates the obligation to have a body assisting and coordinating operating bases that allow the municipality to respond to such natural phenomena or human cause. That is why the creation of a fire station, the municipality of Morelia will provide the security required by the population, property, and the environment in which man lives daily, before the completion of any type of disaster. The task of providing relief to citizens is daily and this project will aim to provide suitable facilities for the performance of this task is so recognized worldwide and contribute to the culture of civil protection and know how to deal with any disaster, either more or less because of natural or human causes.
La situación de geográfica del país nos coloca en un área de alta sismicidad y cada año llegan a nuestras costas depresiones naturales tropicales, tormentas y huracanes que afectan a la ciudad, que tiende a inundarse en ciertas zonas. El creciente desarrollo nos ha vuelto más vulnerables a tener accidentes de tipo físico-químicos. Los desastres se han clasificado tradicionalmente como naturales y causados por el hombre, teniendo según su naturaleza se clasifican en Geológicos, Hidrometeorológicos, Sanitario-ecológicos, socio-organizativos y tecnológicos. Ante el aumento de la ciudad, en población y edificación, es una causa natural en el incremento en emergencias, siniestros, desastres naturales y humanos, y por tal motivo se requiere de más atención y protección hacia la población ante las debidas circunstancias que puedan ocurrir. Garantizar la seguridad de la población ante cualquier tipo de desastre, crea la obligación de tener un órgano que asiste y opere las bases de coordinación que permita al municipio responder a este tipo de fenómenos naturales o de causa humana. Es por ello que con la creación de una estación de bomberos, el municipio de Morelia podrá brindar la seguridad que exige la población, el patrimonio, y el entorno en el que el hombre vive diariamente, ante la culminación de cualquier tipo de desastre. La tarea de brindar auxilio a la ciudadanía es diaria y este proyecto tendrá como objetivo proporcionar las instalaciones adecuadas para el cumplimiento de esta tarea que es tan reconocida a nivel mundial y así contribuir a la cultura de la protección civil y saber cómo actuar ante cualquier tipo de desastre, ya sea de causa mayor o menor, de causa natural o humana.
