The proposed thesis topic is to make an extension project for the University Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research, specifically in the postgraduate course of dentistry which consists of two specialties one of endodontics and the bachelorDegreeWork of orthodontics, the realization of this project will solve a shortage already mentioned which is to provide more and better spaces to the users who request it, that is why it is proposed to expand these facilities. This is of the utmost importance for the municipality of Morelia, due to the fact that there has been a remarkable growth of students who, from year to year, graduate from the dental career, who wish to continue preparing, since at present it is not enough to finish the but it is necessary to have much more knowledge to compete with the great demand that exists in the world of work. At present, the University Center for Postgraduate Studies and Dental Research has seen the capacity of its facilities exceeded in order to provide an optimal service to all its users, so it is necessary to rent buildings to adapt classrooms, therefore, by extending these facilities the benefit that would be towards the institution would be the cost savings that month to month is generating which could be used for the benefit of the same institution. Also, due to the lack of infrastructure, spaces have to be adapted for the location of cubicles, laboratories, meeting rooms, etc. Finally, the realization of this project is extremely viable since the institution is interested in the project and in addition to the above the proposal is endorsed by the department of university planning.
El tema de tesis propuesto, es hacer un proyecto de ampliación para el Centro Universitario de Estudios de Posgrado e Investigación, en específico en el posgrado de odontología que consta a su vez de dos especialidades una de endodoncia y la segunda de ortodoncia, la realización de este proyecto resolverá una carencia ya antes mencionada la cual es la de brindar más y mejores espacios a los usuarios que la solicitan, es por eso que se propone la ampliación de dichas instalaciones. Esto es de suma importancia para el municipio de Morelia, debido a que se ha visto un notable crecimiento de alumnos que año con año egresan de la carrera de odontología, los cuales desean seguirse preparando, ya que en la actualidad no basta solo con terminar la licenciatura sino que es necesario contar con mucho mas conocimiento, para competir con la gran demanda que existe en el mundo laboral. Actualmente el Centro Universitario de Estudios de Posgrado e Investigación odontológica ha visto rebasada la capacidad de sus instalaciones para poder brindar un óptimo servicio a todos sus usuarios, por lo que se ve en la necesidad de rentar edificios para adaptar aulas, por consiguiente al ampliar estas instalaciones el beneficio que se tendría hacia la institución sería el del ahorro del gasto que mes con mes va generando el cual podría ser utilizado en beneficio de la misma institución. Asimismo, debido a la poca infraestructura se ha tenido que adaptar espacios para la ubicación de cubículos, laboratorios, salas de juntas, etc. Por último la realización de este proyecto es sumamente viable ya que la institución está interesada en el proyecto y aunado a lo anterior la propuesta está avalada por el departamento de planeación universitaria.
