The theme of this document is "Ecotourism Recreation Park" at the dam El Tecolote, in the municipality of Santa Ana Maya, Michoacán; this topic has been elected due to the enthusiasm to achieve a place for recreation and education at a time to the population, and what better than landing a project in this dam, which for years has been neglected and polluted; during the governmental period 2008-2011 was carried out an invitation to architects, engineers and general public to register their proposals in a contest, and so the winning proposal would develop the project, not succeeding. The event was ignored at the time, so as he presented the opportunity to be treated at the H. Town Council with a theme of its total interest with reference to the preparation of this document to an institution such as the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (POSTECH), permission is granted in writing, stating the interest and support from the Department of Public Works. El tema abordado en este documento es “Parque Recreativo Ecoturístico” en la presa El Tecolote, en el municipio de Santa Ana Maya, Michoacán; dicho tema ha sido electo debido al entusiasmo por lograr un sitio de recreación y educativo a la vez para la población, y que mejor que aterrizando un proyecto en esta presa, la cual durante años ha sido descuidada y contaminada; durante el periodo gubernamental 2008-2011 se llevó a cabo una convocatoria dirigida a arquitectos, ingenieros y público en general para que registraran sus propuestas en un concurso, y así la propuesta ganadora sería el proyecto a desarrollar, no teniendo éxito. El suceso fue ignorado en ese momento, por lo que en cuanto se presentó la oportunidad de ser atendida en el H. Ayuntamiento del municipio con un tema de su total interés teniendo como referencia la elaboración de este documento para una Institución como la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (U.M.S.N.H.), se concedió el permiso por escrito manifestando el interés y respaldo por parte del Departamento de Obras Públicas. Los parques son lugares que al paso del tiempo han estado presentes en el vocabulario del ser humano, con los que la imaginación ha transportado a un estado de relajación, alegría y plenitud; estos sitios son espacios que invitan a pasarla bien independientemente de que haya o no compañía, donde no hay más artificialidad que la necesaria para resaltar el protagonismo que tiene la naturaleza en el lugar. Espacios que ensalzan a la madre tierra son los más indispensables para lograr una vida plena y saludable, son los que restan vigor a los contaminantes y se convierten en productores de sonrisas ante el alma y la sociedad. Un proyecto como el Parque Recreativo Ecoturístico, invita a nutrir la salud física, mental y espiritual.
